Just started in 2007 as a professional fashion photographer, he can be considered a rising star.
Herman relies on his previous professional experience as art-director and graphic designer, and is more an art-directing photographer, than just "a (technical) photographer". He's an excellent soundboard for other art-directors.
Additionally he had training as a professional make-up-artist to understand and express better his visions, extended by a hair-styling training..and often he still styles wardrobes and creates stage-settings.
Because of this basis, he's able to inspire and to challenge collaborating artists and his teams to push the envelop. And it allows him to act as as well as a creative soundboard for art-directors and other clients.
He has many styles to complement and inspire art-directors and art-buyers, ranging from simple yet intense/emotional black&whites to illustrational high-end fashion-series. He seamlessly creates images that stand out and simultaneously supports and enforces his clients message.
